Nancy Pelosi Takes A Ride On The Crazy Train
/

We are 25 days out from the election and things continue to heat up! We had a very interesting vice presidential debate on Wednesday night, but I’m not going to talk about that one today in great detail.

I think it was pretty obvious that Mike Pence easily won the debate. He did not dodge questions and pointedly attacked Harris on multiple occasions.

Harris was easily proven to not be prepared for the national stage and she is far from being ready to become President if something were to happen to Biden.

Seeing Harris in the debate made it just so much more evident how dangerous a Joe Biden win in November will be. It would be devastating to our country.

On Thursday, Pelosi told reporters to come back soon because they were going to be talking about the 25th amendment. Pelosi and Congressman Jamie Raskin a democrat from Maryland, announced that the House will be introducing a commission on Presidential capacity to discharge the Powers and Duties of Office Act.

It is the required first step in the process of invoking the 25th amendment to attempt to remove President Trump from office.

The 25th Amendment has to do with the continuation of power in regards to the office of President. It has 4 sections and we can take a closer look, but specifically in section 4.

Section one talks about if the President is removed from office or dies, the Vice President becomes President. Section 2 says that if the vice president dues or is removed, the President nominates a replacement, and then Congress votes to confirm.

Section 3 refers to the transfer of power from the President to the VP and then a written declaration to return power to the President. This has happened on a couple of occasions while Presidents underwent surgery and such.

Section 4 is the section that Pelosi is focused on, however.

Section 4 says, “Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

It continues, “Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.”

So the key here is that the VP and a majority of cabinet members would have to go along with this, or the Senate majority would have to go along with it. In either case, this will not happen.

Pelosi knows this will never succeed. She knows she cannot force Trump out of office.

There are two things that she is attempting to accomplish. She wants to put some of the Republicans up for election to be on record about Trump’s fit for office. They want to use this to help in some close races. The second reason is the big reason.

Pelosi is attempting to drive a narrative. Pelosi knows that Biden is struggling. What is going to happen here is that Pelosi and her commission will quickly come to the conclusion that Trump is not fit for office. They will conclude he is mentally unstable.

It draws attention away from Joe Biden. It draws attention away from the dementia of sleepy Joe. He’s the one that really is having mental issues and it will distract.

This is the same type of move they tried to make in 2016 with the Russia hoax. They started that before Trump was elected. This time it is not collusion or interference, but rather it’s going to be that President Trump is crazy.

The Democrats have argued that Trump is crazy. Sure, he isn’t a normal politician, but he’s done very well in leading the country through several things. Perhaps the Democrats should focus on getting the crazy out of their own party.

Perhaps they should focus on Hank Johnson, who said in a video in 2010 that Guam could become overpopulated and capsize.

Perhaps they should focus on AOC, who said that the world is going to be destroyed because of cow farts.

Perhaps they should focus on Ilhan Omar who would rather talk about “some people that did something” rather than terrorists who took thousands of lives.

Or perhaps they should just talk about Nancy Pelosi herself, who believes she is elite and deserves to live above the rules so she can have her hair done.

So while Pelosi’s mission will fail, she will attempt to gain headlines for the last few weeks ahead of the election. While the mainstream media will cheer and follow her lead, do not forget that there is a lot more to come from the Russia scandal. Plus, you never know if Biden will be able to get out of the recliner as we get closer to November.
